Can Play Events

Another great way to get involved with Can Play is by participating in our various special events. Most of our fundraisers and Can Play events are experiential. This enables you and your friends to play from a different perspective and learn about the challenges our participants face every day. We hope you will join us and make a difference in the lives of our participants.

Whiff It! For Can Play

Thursday, July 18 | 1 and 3 p.m.
MidAmerican Energy Company RecPlex indoor turf field
(6500 Grand Ave, West Des Moines)

Wiffle ball is always a good time, and supporting Can Play programs makes it even better. Gather your office teams for an exciting round of wiffle ball! The proceeds will go towards supporting Can Play programs. Each team will have the chance to play two games, 3 innings each, with every player batting in each inning. It’s sure to be a memorable event for a great cause!

We have two time slots available,1:00 pm or 3:00 pm. We recommend teams of 6-8 players. Each field will have an “all time” celebrity pitcher. The player’s bullpen will be available for beverages and snacks and included with your team entry.
